Open Streets: Midtown Village
Center City District (CCD), with support from the Midtown Village Merchants Association and the City of Philadelphia, continues its popular street closure program with Open Streets: Midtown Village, a first-time weekday evening format. Pedestrians can stroll five blocks of car-free space while enjoying expanded outdoor dining, and shopping, and ambient and strolling entertainment including musicians, live artists, and Double Dutch lessons. CCD will also provide additional seating and activities like ping-pong and miniature golf.
Dates: Tuesdays, June 2, 9, 16, 23 & 30
Time: 4-9 p.m.
Location: 13th Street from Chestnut to Walnut, Sansom Street from 12th to Juniper, and Drury Street
