Center City District report documents positive trends around jobs, population, retail, leasing, and a $2.14 billion development pipeline while noting the need for progress in three crucial areas.

CCD Sips returns on Wednesday, June 3 and continuing every Wednesday through August 26. Each week, the program provides an opportunity for connection in Center City by inviting Philadelphia workers and residents to an after-work experience that encourages people to explore new spaces, relax with colleagues and friends, and support local businesses during the summer months.

Center City District (CCD) today released findings from its spring survey of retail storefronts across Center City, showing that overall retail occupancy within CCD's boundaries has climbed to 84.2%, which is the highest level recorded in two years and up from 82.6% just six months ago. The gain represents a net increase of 32 occupied storefronts since September 2025.
