The Rothman Orthopaedics Ice Rink returns to Dilworth Park

Experience the city’s most-anticipated wintertime destination, open 7 days from November 14, 2025 through February 22, 2026. 

Choose a skating session 

Rink patrons should book sessions in advance. Limited in-person sales are available onsite. Skate sessions are 90 minutes long with 30 minute buffers between sessions. Guests may bring their own skates and will then just need to pay for admission.

General Skating
Kids 10 & Under: $7
Ages 11 & Up: $10
Skate Rental: $10
(skate sizes range from kids' size 9 to men's size 14)

Group Rate
$15 per person for 10+ guests

Lockers
Lockers: $8
*Locker reservations will be available once you have chosen a skating session and proceeded to checkout.

Special Admission Discounts

• Temple University staff and students receive $1 off admission when they present their Temple University ID. And Thursday nights, college students with a valid student ID can pay just $3 for admission. 

Skate rental not included. Discounts cannot be used in conjunction with other offers.

Skate Aids
Penguin Skate-Aids: $10 per hour
(Based on availability, for children 10 years old and under)

Private Rental Information
The Rothman Orthopaedics Ice Rink is a great place to get your friends, family and/or coworkers together for a fun, active gathering. To rent the rink for groups of all sizes visit the private rental order page.

Accessibility

The Rothman Orthopaedics Ice Rink is accessible for everyone again this season with Sled Skating. Children and adults with physical/developmental disabilities can reserve a sled for skating beginning on January 5 through February 22, 2026. Admission and use of sled will be free for the individual utilizing the sled. In addition, one adult accompanying the sled user will also receive free admission and skate rental. Any additional guests will be required to pay the regular admission and skate rental fees. Reservations are required. To reserve a sled, email sleds@rinkmanagement.com.

Rothman Orthopaedics Ice Rink Protocols:

• Rent a Locker: Shoes will not be stored by rink staff when renting skates. We encourage you to rent a locker to secure your shoes and personal belongings. CCD and Rink Management are not responsible for lost or stolen items that were not properly secured.
• Check In: Signage will direct guests through the check-in process and skate rental.
• Arrive Early: Queue line will be open 15 minutes prior to your designated skating session. Please arrive early to ensure time for check in and allow for maximum time on the rink.
• Leave Promptly: When your skating session ends, please leave the rink area within 15 minutes, to allow for cleaning and preparation for the next session.
