After a two-year hiatus, workers returning to the office will have the opportunity to socialize with colleagues after hours with the return of Philadelphia’s favorite happy-hour tradition: Center City District Sips. The 14-week program promotes dozens of local bars and restaurants as they provide discounts on Wednesday evenings throughout Center City.
Beginning June 1, participating locations within the District will offer $6 cocktails, $5 wine, $4 beer and half-priced appetizers every Wednesday after work through August 31.
In addition to standard Sips specials, some of Center City’s best boutiques, spas and local shops will offer a weekly 25% discount on special items and services, so you can step into the happiest hour with a brand new Sips Style.
To maximize the benefits and minimize the cost to bars and restaurants that have worked hard to stay open and keep their staffs employed, CCD is waiving all fees for Sips participants within District.
Visit centercityphila.org/ccdsips for more details and a list of participants.
Planning to enjoy Sips this summer? Be sure to get reacquainted with everything there is to enjoy in Center City. World-class arts and culture, one-of-a-kind boutiques, award-winning restaurants and vibrant public spaces are here to explore once the work day ends.
