"Center City Cooks," CCD's Online Cookbook, Offers Your Favorite Restaurant's Recipes as CCD Restaurant Week Presented by TD Banks Begins

(September 12, 2011) For everyone who has ever wanted to re-create their favorite restaurant dish at home, "Center City Cooks" is for you! Imagine being able to serve up the Garces Trading Company's "Cauliflower Antipasto," Lolita's Chile Pumpkin Soup," or "Stuffed Calamari" from Bistro St. Tropez! Now you can! And there's many more recipes from Le Bec-Fin, the Capital Grille, El Vez and others!

Launched today, along with Center City District Restaurant Week Presented by TD Bank, "Center City Cooks" offers nearly two dozen seasonal recipes and other useful cooking information on the CCD's website at centercityphila.org/RestaurantWeek. All of the recipes are from restaurants participating in Restaurant Week. Print them out and collect them all! Make your own loose-leaf cookbook! Or go back again and again to use the searchable database.

And don't forget to make a reservation for Center City District Restaurant Week Presented by TD Bank. You have two weeks to choose from: September 12-16 and September 18-23.

The Center City District has an exciting new partnership with Philly Homegrown, a program of Greater Philadelphia Tourism Marketing Corporation (GPTMC), to promote locally grown produce in featured dishes at all participating Restaurant Week locations. Philly Homegrown is a partner in both Restaurant Week and "Center City Cooks."

And there's more! You can easily access Center City District Restaurant Week Presented by TD Bank on the go! Center City District Restaurant Week Presented by TD Bank now has a mobile website, which makes it even easier to find a restaurant, see the menu and make reservations right from your phone. Find it at m.centercityphila.org.
