Philly Phlash Extended July 4th Hours

(June 27, 2008) – The Phlash Center City trolley will operate until 7 p.m. on Friday, July 4th and until 11 p.m. on Saturday, July 5th to accommodate Independence Day celebrations. Phlash regularly operates from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., seven days a week through October.

The purple Phlash trolleys connect 21 key locations throughout Center City, including Penn’s Landing and the Philadelphia Museum of Art.

The fare is $2 dollars each time you board; all-day individual and family passes are available for $5 and $10 dollars respectively. SEPTA’s Convenience Pass is also sold on Phlash at a discounted price of $6.00 allowing up to 8 rides in a single day on all buses, subway trains and trolley lines. For more details on fares, trolley stops and park & ride discounts, visit www.phillyphlash.com.

Phlash is managed by the Center City District’s transportation affiliate, the Central Philadelphia Transportation Management Association (CPTMA), operated by Philadelphia Trolley Works and marketed in partnership with the Greater Philadelphia Tourism Marketing Corporation (GPTMC).

Central Philadelphia Transportation Management Association (CPTMA) is a non-profit organization seeking to enhance Center City Philadelphia as a premier place to live, work, study and visit by improving mobility throughout the downtown area. Working with public- and private-sector partners, CPTMA helps reduce traffic congestion, promotes the use of public transit, improves opportunities for pedestrians and bicyclists and serves as an information resource on transportation issues affecting Center City.
