Philadelphia, PA (June 20, 2016) – Dive into beach season as Dilworth Park is turned into a special retro-beach themed CCD Sips to celebrate the new partnership between Brûlée Catering and Center City District’s Dilworth Park. You’ll be picking up good vibrations at Dilworth Park Café & Air Grille Grand Opening with boardwalk-inspired cuisine, in addition to the regular menus of both eateries. Look for the yellow umbrellas and classic silver Airstream.
The grand opening celebrates Dilworth Park Café & Air Grille being open all summer long. The menu features American cuisine made with seasonal, local ingredients. Chef’s creations include burgers made with a private blend of all natural brisket, short rib and other steaks, and topped with PA bacon and brie. The menus also include salads made with locally-grown lettuce and New Jersey heirloom tomatoes, hummus blended with PA-made tahini, sandwiches and many other grab-and-go delicacies. The menu concepts are created by Chazz Alberti, Culinary Director of Brûlée Catering as well as JC Nunez, Executive Chef of Brûlée's off-premise catering division.

Party goers at the grand opening can set sail without ever leaving dry land at this special edition of Center City District Sips at Dilworth presented by 2 Gingers, 5:00 p.m. – 7 p.m., offering $3 beers, $4 summer wine sangria, and $5 boat drink cocktails featuring 2 Gingers Irish Whiskey.
Guests will get leis upon arrival, and are invited to play Beach trivia to win cool prizes, and chill out to classic summer tunes with DJ Suga Shay (DJSUGASHAY.WORDPRESS.COM).
The event will launch a Sip & Snap Instagram contest for sippers to share their summer love of CCD Sips at Dilworth Park Café. Prizes include coupons for complimentary menu items from the all-new Air Grille, a ticket for a drink at Dilworth Park Café during CCD Sips, and gift cards to other restaurants. The top winners will also have a chance to win our grand prizes, two tickets to Mix 106.1’s Summer Jam on July 19, featuring Gwen Stefani and Eve, and two tickets to Jimmy Buffett’s Atlantic City concert on August 13!
