PHILADELPHIA (October 6, 2016) – The seasons are changing and so is Dilworth Park —

into a five-day fall party. October 12th through the 16th, Octoberfest presented by Saul Ewing is back with fall favorites, as Dilworth Park is transformed with pumpkins, autumn décor, and the Saultoberfest Beer Garden. Celebrate fall in the heart of the city with craft beers like Goose Island, Stella Artois Cidre, and autumn cocktails with Jim Beam Apple, all available for purchase.

Dilworth Park Café and Air Grille will offer special German-inspired menu items. Chefs will be on premises grilling up bratwursts and South Philly Schnitzel, Saultoberfest Sauerbraten Cheesesteak, Germantown Potato Dumplings, Radish Salad and Pretzel Bread Pudding. The Chef has even designed a menu special as an ode to sponsor Saul Ewing, the Bavarian Pret-Saul.

Come raise a glass and then put it aside, because you’ve got some games to play. There will be classic board games out on tables for everyone to enjoy. Challenge a friend to Scrabble, Battleship, Operation, Checkers, UNO and more. Try a round of shuffleboard or Foosball while enjoying a drink, or check out Jim Beam Plinko to win a prize. Enter the hold-a-stein contest, play lawn games and take a selfie with the Jim Beam Bear and Beam girls with City Hall as the backdrop. Don’t miss the game either, on Saturday and Sunday; catch some football on the large flatscreens.

The event is free to enter, and pay as you go for food and beverage with free games and entertainment. Presented by: Jim Beam Apple, Effen Blood Orange, Bud Light, Goose Island IPA and Live Nation. Dilworth Park partner Live Nation will curate an entire weekend of live bands and DJs.
