Yes, it’s still summer, but it’s never too early to start planning which restaurants to hit for Center City District Restaurant Week, presented by Mercedes-Benz.

The participating restaurants have started sending in their menus and we’ve been putting them up as we receive them. So, if your favorite restaurant’s menu isn’t up there yet, check back over the next few weeks or so.

Head over to the page, see what Center City’s restaurants are serving up and then start plotting and strategizing- those weeks will blow by before you know it.

Oh- also, remember that you can make reservations through those OpenTable links anytime during the year, not just during Restaurant Week.

Bring your a picnic basket, blanket and some friends down to the Schuylkill Banks for side-splitting comedy during this year’s free Summer Movie Series. See a classic comedy this Thursday and every other Thursday this summer. All movies start at dusk (approximately 8:15pm).

This Monday, the Sofitel-Philadelphia is celebrating Bastille Day in a big way. Enjoy a selection of crepes suzette and crepes au sucre (only $2 each), served on 17th Street from 3-5pm. Grab a blanket or lawn chair, bring the family and friends and head to City Hall courtyard four Fridays this summer to catch a movie under Billy Penn, during the City Hall Film Series. All films are FREE and open to the public and begin at approximately 8:30pm. No alcohol or pets are allowed.
