Celebrate the Grape
Philadelphia magazine and the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board present the Seventh Annual Philadelphia Wine Festival, May 10, 6:30-9pm, benefiting The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. The tasting features nearly 200 of the world’s finest wineries, sharing samples of their selections with festival attendees. Guests will interact with winemakers, presidents and brand ambassadors of wineries from Canada to South America, Australia to New Zealand to the Pacific Northwest and many points in between, on hand to answer questions and discuss their wines. Guests will enjoy signature dishes from some of Philadelphia’s finest restaurants including: Di Bruno Brothers, Fleming’s Steakhouse, The Restaurant School and Penne Restaurant and Wine Bar. There will be an on-site auction. The Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board will operate an on-site store specifically featuring wines sampled at the event, including many that are hard to find or not available for purchase in Pennsylvania. $125 per person.

Chef Georges Perrier, of Philadelphia’s legendary 5-star restaurant Le Bec-Fin, is proud to announce a special three-course brunch for those who matter most, on May 11, 11:30am-2:30pm. Chefs will prepare selections from Le Bec-Fin's new spring menu, starting with a first course of classic brunch appetizers, fresh pastries and a made-to-order omelet station served buffet-style.
