Community Service Representative
Community Service Representatives (CSRs) function as goodwill ambassadors for the Center City area, and serve as the “eyes and ears” of the Philadelphia Police Department. CSRs patrol specific areas to observe and serve as a source of information to the public, businesses, residents, tourists and others.

CSRs are a uniformed patrol who act as a positive, friendly and welcoming presence in the Center City District. We work in partnership with the police, provide information about sites of interest, current entertainment and events, assist tourists and interact with all visitors, residents and businesses within the Center City District. CSRs also support the numerous events sponsored by the Center City District throughout the year. CSRs work a steady schedule from 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M., 11:30 A.M. to 7:30 P.M., or 3:00 P.M. to 11:00 P.M. including some weekends and some holidays. [Full details]
